Terms and Conditions
Conditions governing access to and use of the website, products, AI copilot, API and services of AIDeep Economics.
Terms and Conditions in detail
These Terms and Conditions (the «Terms») govern access to and use of the website www.aideepeconomics.com and the services, products, publications, artificial-intelligence copilot, voice assistant and application programming interface (API) offered by AIDeep Economics (hereinafter, «AIDeep», «we» or «the Company»), domiciled at Rambla del Peru 1043 Apt 402, Pocitos, Montevideo, Uruguay.
By accessing the site or using any of the services, you (the «User») represent that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of this document. If you do not agree with any of its provisions, please refrain from using the site and the services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. AIDeep is a Uruguayan company and its activity is subject, among other rules, to Law No. 18.331 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where applicable, to Law No. 17.250 on Consumer Relations.
1. Identification and acceptance
The owner and controller of the site and the services is AIDeep Economics, domiciled at Rambla del Peru 1043 Apt 402, Pocitos, Montevideo, Uruguay. For any query relating to these Terms you may write to support@aideepeconomics.com.
- Acceptance: use of the site, the forms, the AI copilot, the voice assistant, the API or any product implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms as in force at the time of use.
- Legal capacity: the User represents that they are of legal age and have sufficient legal capacity to contract. When acting on behalf of an organization, the User represents that they are duly authorized to bind it.
- Intended audience: the site and services are aimed at professionals, companies and institutions in the agricultural, agro-industrial and economic-research sectors. The service is not directed to minors and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
2. Description of the services
AIDeep offers an informational website and an economic and agricultural intelligence observatory. The services may include, in whole or in part and subject to change:
- Informational content and publications: analyses, articles, indicators and academic publications (journal with ISSN 2982-4419).
- AI copilot and assistants: chat, queries about publications («Ask the paper»), observatory queries (AgroAsk), AI Council, summaries and briefings (AgroPulse), powered by Google Gemini models.
- Voice assistant: voice interaction provided through Vapi (with Daily.co infrastructure).
- API v1: programmatic access to data and intelligence, with free and paid plans.
- Products and portals: AgriShield, AgroSmartRisk, AgroIntel / AgroTwin, AgroNews, AgroTrack360 and AgroClimaX, among others.
2.1. Third-party products and portals
Some products and portals run on third-party or sister-service domains or environments and may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. When the User accesses those portals or logs into them, their credentials and data are managed directly by those services. We recommend reviewing the terms applicable to each portal before using it.
2.2. Informational nature. No advice
All content on the site, the observatory and the AI assistants is informational and educational in nature. It does not constitute financial, investment, agronomic, accounting, legal or any other professional advice, nor a recommendation to take or refrain from taking any decision. AIDeep is not a registered financial or investment adviser. Any decisions the User makes based on the content are their sole responsibility and risk. Before making significant decisions, we recommend consulting a licensed professional.
3. Acceptable use
The User agrees to use the site and services lawfully, diligently and in accordance with these Terms. In particular, the following is prohibited:
- Carrying out mass or automated data extraction (scraping) in an abusive manner, or evading, circumventing or interfering with usage limits (rate limits), detection mechanisms (honeypots) or security systems (Sentinel).
- Attempting prompt injection, manipulation or misuse of the AI assistants or the API.
- Using the services to send unsolicited communications (spam), for fraud, identity impersonation or any unlawful purpose.
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling or disassembling the software, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
- Overloading, damaging or affecting the availability or integrity of the infrastructure, or attempting unauthorized access.
- Uploading unlawful, defamatory content, content that infringes third-party rights, or content containing malicious code.
3.1. Credentials and API keys
The User is responsible for the confidentiality and use of their credentials and API keys. For security reasons, the Pro plan key is shown only once at the time of issuance; it is the User's responsibility to store it securely. Any use made with the User's credentials is presumed to be made by the User. Access to the operations panel (Ops) and staff registration are for internal use and restricted to authorized persons.
4. AI-generated content
The copilot, chat, AgroAsk, AI Council, publication summaries and other AI features rely on Google Gemini models. The voice assistant processes audio and its transcription through Vapi (with Daily.co infrastructure).
- Possible inaccuracies: AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated (it may «hallucinate»). It is provided «as is», without any warranty of accuracy, and does not constitute professional advice. The User must verify information before relying on it.
- Data you must not enter: the User must not enter sensitive personal data, passwords or confidential third-party information into the chat, the voice assistant or free-text fields. Content entered is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and may be transmitted to the AI providers indicated.
- No binding automated decisions: the AI assistants are a support tool and do not make decisions producing legal effects on the User. In job-application processes, AI only assists and decisions are reviewed by humans.
- Use of output: AIDeep does not claim rights over the User's queries beyond what is necessary to provide the service and in accordance with the Privacy Policy. The User is responsible for the use they make of the generated results and for verifying them beforehand.
5. Payments and billing
5.1. Pro plan (MercadoPago)
The Pro plan is paid through MercadoPago (hosted Checkout Pro). AIDeep does not view or store the User's card details; it only receives the buyer's email address. Payment is processed entirely by MercadoPago under its own terms. The applicable currency and price are shown during the payment process. Once payment is approved, the corresponding API key is delivered by email; the process is idempotent with respect to the payment identifier.
5.2. API v1 (pay-per-request via x402)
API v1 may offer a pay-per-request scheme via the x402 protocol using cryptocurrency (USDC on-chain on the Base network). Under that scheme, payment operates as an access credential; the wallet address and the transaction hash are public on the blockchain. Settlement is handled by an external facilitator (x402.org in testing or Coinbase CDP in production). These payment rails may be disabled by default.
5.3. Prices, taxes, refunds and cancellations
- Prices: prices may change at any time; the applicable price is the one in force and displayed at the time of contracting.
- Taxes: prices may be subject to applicable taxes under Uruguayan law. Where applicable, taxes will be indicated or added in accordance with the regulations in force.
- Refunds and cancellations: refund or cancellation requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law, in particular the mandatory consumer-protection provisions (Law No. 17.250) where applicable. To handle a request, write to support@aideepeconomics.com.
6. Intellectual property
The site, its design, the software, the databases, the texts, the graphics, the trademarks and names (including, without limitation, AgriShield, AgroPulse, AgroTwin, AgroIntel, AgroSmartRisk, AgroNews, AgroTrack360 and AgroClimaX), as well as the academic publications (ISSN 2982-4419), are the property of AIDeep or their respective owners and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.
- License to use: the User is granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable and non-transferable license to access and use the site and services for legitimate purposes, in accordance with these Terms. No ownership right is transferred.
- Publications: the reproduction, citation or academic use of the publications must respect authorship credits and the conditions applicable to each work.
- Public-source data: part of the content is prepared from public and third-party data sources (for example, the World Bank, FAO, FRED, USDA, INDEC, BCRA, Comtrade, among others). The use of such data is subject to the terms and credits of the respective sources, and the User acquires no ownership rights over it.
7. User-contributed content and data
- Accuracy and ownership: when submitting forms, messages, resumes, watchlists or other data, the User represents that the information is truthful, up to date and that they have the right to provide it, including, where applicable, the consent of the individuals it refers to.
- Processing license: the User grants AIDeep a license to store and process the contributed content for the sole purpose of providing and improving the services, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Business data: business information the User chooses to share (for example, the sales and cost structure in the AgroIntel private twin) is treated as confidential information with restricted access.
8. Availability and no warranties
The site and services are provided «as is» and «as available». To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIDeep does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that the information or results will be accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. AIDeep may perform maintenance and may suspend or modify the service. Links to third-party sites and services are provided for convenience, and AIDeep assumes no responsibility for their content, availability or practices. Nothing in this clause excludes warranties that are mandatory under Uruguayan law, in particular in relation to consumers.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AIDeep shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, loss of data or of opportunities, arising from the use of or inability to use the site or services, including AI-generated results. The observatory and the AI assistants are informational in nature, and any decisions the User makes on that basis are made at their own risk.
This limitation does not exclude or restrict liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory Uruguayan law, in particular consumer-protection rules (Law No. 17.250) and cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence. In relation to consumers, the limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnity
The User agrees to hold AIDeep, its directors, employees and collaborators harmless from any claim, loss, damage or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from misuse of the services, breach of these Terms, or the User's violation of third-party rights or of the law.
11. Suspension and termination
AIDeep may suspend or terminate, in whole or in part and without prior notice, a User's access, accounts or API keys in the event of abuse, breach of these Terms, risk to security or infrastructure, or where required by law. The User may stop using the services at any time. Provisions that by their nature must survive (intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) will remain in force after termination.
12. Privacy
The processing of the User's personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By accepting these Terms, the User represents that they have read that policy. Processing is carried out in accordance with Uruguay's Law No. 18.331 on the Protection of Personal Data and its implementing Decree 414/009, under the supervision of the Regulatory and Personal Data Control Unit (URCDP), and, for users in the European Union, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) where applicable.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. For any dispute arising from these Terms or from the use of the site and services, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of Montevideo, Uruguay, without prejudice to the rights and venues that the mandatory consumer-protection rules (Law No. 17.250) grant to Users who qualify as consumers.
14. Amendments and general provisions
- Amendments: AIDeep may update these Terms at any time. The version in force will be published on the site with its update date; continued use of the service implies acceptance of the version in force.
- Severability: if any clause is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will retain full force and effect.
- Assignment: the User may not assign their rights or obligations without AIDeep's prior consent. AIDeep may assign these Terms in the context of a reorganization or transfer of its business.
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter addressed herein.
- Notices: communications to AIDeep may be sent to support@aideepeconomics.com.
